Do I need any prior knowledge before starting lessons?
No prior knowledge is needed! Whether you’re a complete beginner or know a few words, we can start from the basics. All you need is motivation and the desire to learn Dutch. I’ll guide you step by step on your Dutch learning journey.
Do you offer online lessons or only in-person?
I offer only online Dutch lessons, which makes it easy to learn from anywhere in the world. All you need is internet connection!
What platform do you use for the lessons?
I use Zoom for all the lessons. I also share a visual presentation during the lessons, so you can follow along easily with helpful visuals.
Do you also teach kids/teenagers?
Yes! I have experience teaching children, including toddlers. Kids learn Dutch in a different way: through simpler, more interactive methods like games, songs, and activities.
If you’re booking lessons for a child, please let me know in advance so I can prepare the right materials. Keep in mind, these are online Dutch lessons, so they will require a little extra focus compared to in-person classes.
Do you focus more on speaking, writing, listening, or reading?
Private lessons are fully tailored to your needs. So if you’d like to focus on writing, spelling, speaking, or a combination of them, just let me know!
One of the best parts of private lessons is that we can spend plenty of time practicing pronunciation, and you’ll get instant feedback to help you improve quickly.
Can I learn Dutch without living in the Netherlands?
Absolutely! You can learn Dutch from anywhere. Many of my students learn Dutch for travel, work, family, or personal goals, even if they don’t live in the Netherlands.
How many lessons per week are recommended?
I recommend starting with 1 lesson per week. This gives you enough time to absorb what you learn and practice in between sessions. If you want faster progress, we can always increase the frequency.
Do you offer group lessons?
Happy to hear you are looking for that. Group lessons are not yet available, but they are coming sooner than you’d think. Stay tuned.
